cozy pattern

here is another pattern for a cozy. this one im going to have to reknit becasue my daughter in law stoll it (lol) before i could get a pic.

Diagonal Rib Cozy
Materials needed:
1 set of size 6 us double pointed needles
1 set of size 4 us double pointed needles for the i-cord
1 stitch marker
1 tapestry needle
1 ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn
Cast on 17 stitches on 2 needles and 18 stitches on 1 needle for a total of 52 stitches. Make sure you leave a long tail for later.
Put the stitch marker between stitches 1 and 2 to mark the new row
Row 1 - *k2, p2; repeat from * to end
Row 2 - repeat row 1
Row 3 - k1, *p2, k2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, p2, k1
Row 4 - p1, *k2, p2, from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1
Row 5 - *p2, k2; repeat from * to end.
Row 6 - repeat row 5
Row 7 - repeat row 4
Row 8 - repeat row 3
Repeat these 8 rows 5 times for a total of 40 rows
Row 41 - *k2, yo, k2tog, k2; repeat from * around to end
Row 42 - *k2, p2; repeat from * around.
Bind off weave in end on top
With long tail run around bottom of stitches pull tight. Sew up hole then weave in end.
Make an I-Cord about 22" long weave in ends at both ends of the I-cord. Run the I-cord in and out the holes on top and then tie and knot in each end. Put your drink bottle, can or glass in and tie it so the cozy doesnt slip off and enjoy

double fleck cozy



here is the pattern for the cozy.



Double fleck stitch cozy
materials needed
1 set size 6 double pointed needles
1 set size 4 double pointed needles for I cord
1 stitch marker
1 tapestry needle
1 ball 100% cotton yarn
cast on 17 sts on 2 needles and 18 sts on 1 needle for a total of 52 sts. Make sure you leave a long enough tail to sew up the hole on bottom later.
Put a stitch marker between stitches one and two to mark the new row.
Row 1 - knit around to end
Row 2 - p4, *k2, p4; repeat from * to end
Row 3 - knit around to end
Row 4 - p1, *k2, p4; repeat from *to last 3 sts k2, p1
Repeat these 4 rows 10 times for a total of 40 rows.
Row 41 - *k2, yo, k2tog, k2; repeat from * around to end
Row 42 - knit around to end.
Bind off weave in end at top
Run the long tail around through stitches on the bottom pull tight and sew up hole. Weave in end.
Make an I-Cord about 22" sew the end away in both ends
Run the cord in and out the holes then put a knot in each end.
Put a bottle, can, glass or what ever you drink out of and tie the I-cord so that the cozy doesn’t slip off and you will have a great way to tell your drink from everyone else’s and there will be no mess from moister dripping.
